the show continues to grow!

Birmingham artist Janna Phillips

We are very excited to include another Birmingham Artist!

Janna, who lives in Crestwood North, has exhibited her work from Brooklyn to Tuscaloosa and is often awarded for her excellence in painting at juried shows.

She uses ink, paint, and clay in a detailed and naturalistic way to create an impact and inspire the imagination with her work.

When Janna works with clay, she creates functional stoneware and porcelain pottery in a process that she says offers therapeutic contrast to her painting style.

What to expect at her booth

Visit Janna’s booth to add fine art to your walls, find your new favorite mug, or just to connect with an accomplished and passionate Birmingham artist.

Handmade Art Show Homewood

Handmade Art Show started in 1994 in a private home with just a handful of artists. It now showcases about 60 local artists.

Handmade is different from many other art shows because of it’s intimate size, featuring only local artists and is held in a neighborhood park.

Many Homewood residents walk to the show and consider Handmade their neighborhood art show.
